Hurricane Michael's Wrath Damages Local Assisted Living Facility

Hurricane Michael took no mercy on anything in his path as he barreled his way through the Florida Panhandle. Taking down trees, homes – whatever stood against his powerful winds.

A local assisted living facility took the brunt of Michael’s path, displacing hundreds of elderly patients into the cafeteria rather than their own rooms. No questions were asked as the SERVPRO of Wesley Chapel Disaster Recovery Team loaded up and made the 3-hour drive to Florida’s Panhandle to serve those who needed our help the most.

Hundreds of ceiling tiles, baseboards and drywall were damaged as wind driven rain poured through lighting fixtures. Our team worked diligently to dry out and restore the property back to its original state.
